'Thinking Things' is a wonderfully exciting development of the technical aptitude Alex possesses. It also shows rapid growth in his ability to compose his art in a very effective and sophisticated way. This painting was exhibited, somewhat controversially, in 2006, at Blackfriars Arts Centre in Boston, Lincolnshire, as part of 'As Yet Untitled', the group exhibition of new and emerging artists and on the Ovenden Contemporary Stand at The Anglian Contemporary Art Fair in Braintree during July 2006.
